Page templating explained

Page templates are where the design and content integrate with functionality.  Each page template represents the content, design and functionality of a particular type of content, eg News items, Frequently Asked Questions, a Contact form, etc.  The integrated into the CMS so that new, or edited, content is automatically displayed with the required design, functionality and features.
